Ummy Mwalimu tables 2021/22 budget estimates
​​​​​​​MINISTER of State for the President s Office - Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), Ummy Mwalimu yesterday tabled the 2021/22 budget estimates of 7.68trilion/- , which is an increase of 6.7bn/- as compared to this fiscal year budget of 7.01trililion/-.

About 2.95trilion/- has been allotted for development programmes, among others, repairing and constructing schools and hospitals. This is an increase by 29.3 per cent as compared to the current year whereby 2.28trilion/- was allocated.
Presenting the proposed budget here yesterday in the august House, Ummy highlighted six priorities to be implemented in the next financial year in line with the National Development Plan. ....
