Nigerian Customs Service Seizes 120 Bags Of Foreign Rice, 12,000 Petrol Litres In Adamawa
Not less than 200 donkey skins, 127 bags of 50 kilogrammes of foreign rice among other contraband items were seized by the Nigerian Customs Service of Adamawa and Taraba Area Command. The Comptroller of the area, S K Abdullahi, disclosed this to journalists on Thursday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital. Abdullahi said the seizures were made in the month of August with a paid duty value of N19,419,051. He emphasised that "The seizure of the donkey skin was specially effected jointly with Federal Operation Unit and the Customs Intelligence Unit.
