  The publisher and Managing Editor of Taraba Truth and Facts Newspaper, Ayodele Samuel has been detained by the police despite meeting the bail conditions given by the court. SaharaReporters on Sunday learnt that Samuel, who is also the CEO of Rock FM 92.3 in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, had been remanded for six days despite meeting his bail conditions which were the provision of N10 million naira and two sureties who must be residents of Jalingo with landed properties worth N5 million naira each.

Ayodele Samuel Oloye, the publisher of Taraba Truth and Facts newspaper and the Chief Executive Officer of Rock FM 92.3 in Jalingo, Taraba State, has been tried secretly by a Taraba State High Court, which remanded him in detention without allowing him access to his family or lawyers. SaharaReporters had earlier reported that some Taraba State Government agents arrested Ayodele over a publication that Governor Darius Ishaku had “plans to sell Taraba liaison office.”

The publisher and Managing Editor of Taraba Truth and Facts Newspaper, Ayodele Samuel has raised the alarm over alleged threats to his life by agents of the Taraba State government. Samuel told SaharaReporters that agents of the state government led by the Aide De Camp to the state governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku, have been making efforts to kill him. He said he has it on good authority that the state government through the Attorney General have concluded plans with a Magistrate Court in Jalingo to remand me in prison with stringent bail conditions on Monday (today).
