CWRU inks licensing deal to commercialize an imaging agent to aid in brain tumor surgery

The agreement is with a Lorain County company, NeoIndicate LLC. The imaging agent, discovered and developed at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine, 'fluorescently tags tumor cells to guide neurosurgeons to a more precise and complete surgical removal of glioblastoma and other malignant brain tumors,' the university said.
