Council supports plans to expand eastern city limits

The City of Prince Albert is moving ahead with the next phase of plans to annex a 45 acre parcel of land on the city’s eastern boundary.
The proposal to acquire the land from the R.M. of Prince Albert had strong support at Monday night’s council meeting.
The city’s most immediate plans for the parcel involve using it to connect Byars Street with Highway 302. The move is designed to decrease traffic congestion in the Crescent Acres area.
