Restrictions on land travel at the U.S. - Mexico border are set to expire at the end of the day on July 21, unless the two countries come to an agreement to extend them once again. Some businesses said that before the pandemic 70-80 percent of their sales came from Mexican shoppers who crossed the border for the day. Ellwood City Farmers Market set to spice up the summer

Ellwood City Ledger ELLWOOD CITY — Get ready for peaches, pies, baked goods, berries, garlic, goodies, jams, jellies and greens because the Ellwood City Farmers Market is coming back.  This year, the market will take place from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday between June 5 and Oct. 9 in the municipal parking lot at 500 Beaver Ave., and will feature lots of local meats, produce and products, as well as live music and entertainment, so that residents can get groovy while getting their groceries.   The market, funded by an anonymous grant, is organized by Ellwood City Revitalizat...
