Kathua: District Legal Services Authority Kathua today organised an awareness programme on women’s rights to mark International Women’s Day.
Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Kathua Aarti Mohan, presided over the event held at Government Degree College.
In her address, the Secretary DLSA explained the role and importance of women in the society and emphasized on Women Empowerment. She also highlighted the various laws and schemes introduced by the Government for the benefit of women and also impressed upon the audience to take maximum benefit of the same.
On the occasion, Principal of the College, Asha Ram Sharma also shared his views on Women Empowerment and advised the girl students to be career conscious and economically independent. ....
