Food items distributed among COVID affected families in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: Indo -Global Social Service Society (IGSSS), a national social development organization, with support from Secours Catholique, Cartias France, distributed dry ration and hygiene kits among 315 families severely impacted and affected by COVID-19 living in 19 villages under Boginadi, Lakhimpur and Telahi Development Blocks of Lakhimpur District. The relief packets comprised of 18 essential items like salt, turmeric powder, masoor dal, chickpea, soyabean, rice, mustard oil, chilli powder, biscuits, flattened rice, moong dal, sugar, green pea, black dal, bathing soap, detergent powder, sanitizer, and sanitary pad. Each packet is worth Rs 2,000. ....
