Rejection. bill: who else is growing their workforce now. >> reporter: lots of winter-specific jobs needed in the months ahead. up in the mountains, resorts, they are hiring thousands of people to work at ski areas, and at destination hotels. this is lake tahoe. fedex and ups also bringing on extra staff to handle the uptick in holiday shipping. and e-tailer amazon.com announcing this week it is hiring 50,000 seasonal workers at its facilities nationwide. once the season ends these jobs generally go away but experts say more employers view these temp assignments as auditions for full time work...
