Temple procession: Flight services at Thiruvananthapuram airport to be suspended for 5 hours on Monday
Flight services at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in India will be temporarily suspended for five hours on Monday to allow for a traditional temple procession to pass through the runway. The ceremony, known as Arattu, is a decades-old practice involving the Travancore Royals. Four flights have been rescheduled due to the event, and the airport will only resume operations after the procession has returned and the runway has been cleaned and inspected.
