Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) regarding its employer-based and marketplace plans.
With no deal signed, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee members have been out-of-network at Methodist facilities since Jan. 1.
Negotiations are ongoing about in-network coverage for others who have health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee.
The insurer said members should reach out prior to any scheduled services so they can discuss their options.
The change impacts people with employer-sponsored health insurance through Blue Cross, but also many covered by TennCare.
