4 Calinog town villages are CTG-cleared


ILOILO CITY, Jan. 19 (PIA) - - Four out of the nine villages identified as insurgency affected in the municipality of Calinog, Iloilo have been declared  cleared of Communist Terrorist Group (CTG).
The four villages are Binolusan Pequeno, Binolusan Grande, Supanga and Guinbunyugan, as announced by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Iloilo during an activity held on Friday, January 15.
The remaining five barangays that are either affected or threatened by insurgency are Marandig, Aglonok, Caratagan, Garangan and Masaroy.
During the event, the chiefs of the four CTG-cleared villages received Smart TVs for the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) from Iloilo governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., DILG 6 Regional Director Juan Jovian Ingeniero and DILG – Provincial Director Teodora Sumagaysay. ....
