Armed Herdsmen Kill Five Residents, Injure Others In Fresh Attacks On Benue Communities
Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have reportedly killed five people and injured many others in fresh attacks on two communities in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State. The attackers reportedly invaded the communities – Ayilamo and Mahanga settlements on Tuesday night around 10:20pm – when residents were asleep. The Nation reports that a witness identified as Tersoo Apera, said that the herdsmen first attacked the Mobile Barracks located on Anyiin-Ayilamo road in Mahanga settlement where they killed two people in a thatched house.
