The Hi-Liners opened up a 14 point lead in the first half thanks to an 12-2 run. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City used a very balanced offense and a strong second half for a 75-46 win over Fargo North at the Hi-Liner Activity Center Tuesday night in girls basketball. The 75 points is a season high for Valley City as eight different players scored for the Hi-Liners and six of those had at least eight points. North lead most of the first half following a three-pointer by Emily Skalicky with 16:22 to go in the first half to take a 5-4 lead. That lead would expand to five at 9-4 after Grace Miller’s inside bucket banked in to with 14:48 to go in the half.
