touch and going situation because loughner has broken down in court . he's been dragged out screaming. he's exhibited active signs of mental illness at many hearings. here is what the judge is trying to decide. to be competent you have to understand what's going on in the courtroom, understand the charges against you and be able to at least provide minimal assistance to your own lawyers. it's a very low standard. if you are delusional and ranting and raving, youon't meet the test. he's failed the test on other occasions. two psychiatrists have said he's incompetent to stand trial. he...
