The Leader Newspaper CD Thader at Petrelense By Steve Hibberd On a rain-soaked mid-week evening, Thader made hard work of dispensing with a poor Petrel side.  With only 2 victories all season, the hosts are all but relegated to regional division football, but they made the men from Rojales fight all the way. Manager Raul Mora made some enforced changes from the defeat to Benferri, with every available player getting a slot on the team sheet.  Injuries to front men Quino and Calderon (out for rest of the season), have left the team with few options in the attacking department...

The Leader Newspaper Thader respond well to half time team talk By Steve Hibberd An amazing 2nd half turnaround, resulted in Thader emerging victorious, whereas for large periods of the 1st half, they looked as if they were feeling the effects of scoffing too many easter eggs. Going into last Wednesday night’s match against Petrel, Thader were in the unenviable position at the foot of Preferente division, whilst their visitors wer...

The Leader Newspaper Fran holding offTorrellano striker Moha. Courtest Torrellano Twitter By Steve Hibberd Cheered on by 150 fans inside Moi Gomez Stadium, Thader gave a good account of themselves against high flying Torrellano.  The last time that fans were permitted to watch their team was back in late October, which incidentally proved to be the last time that Thader have picked up any points. So, to lose on Sunday morning by the odd goal in 3, was a bitter pill to swallow for Raul Mora´s men.  At start of play, Torrellano were sitting pretty in 4th place, whilst their h...
