The egg arrived on Wednesday, and zoo officials are expecting more to arrive and hatch this summer.  In a Facebook post, zoo officials said  an expected hatching date for the "wobbly" flamingo chicks should happen sometime in early June.  The typical length of incubation for flamingos is between 27 and 31 days. Chicks are typically white and gray when they hatch and will turn their recognizable pink shade once they are about 2 years old.
