Monk shot dead trying to stop soldiers burning village in Sagaing's Wuntho Township
A Buddhist monk was shot and killed as he tried to stop junta troops from setting fire to Thapyay Thar Village in Sagaing Region’s Wuntho Township on the night of 23 April, according to a local resident.
