I have studied Chinese in a few Beijing schools before, but That's Mandarin is by far the most organized one.The teachers are very professional and the learning method is quite entertaining and efficient. Not cheap, but certainly worth the money.
That's Mandarin has been delivering Chinese learning services in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen for over 10 years. Established in 2005, the school welcomes over 3,000 students every year from various countries and helps them achieve their learning goals using in-house developed teaching methods: Link Word and Story Telling. Students also have access to an online integrated learning platform called Nihao Café to complement their in-class lessons.
3 A friend and I dined at Fiume on a recent Friday night. I've dined both at Fiume and Mercante before and enjoyed them. We were greeted by the owner, Omar, who looked like he just rolled out of bed, in a crumpled t-shirt and shorts, an outfit in which I would be reluctant to receive waimai, never mind welcome customers. The venue was hot, with the air conditioning but the door wide open for true European ambiance. The caprese we ordered was very good, as were the steaks. Tiramisu and panna cotta topped it off. We split a bottle of chianti. The bill was over RMB 1,400.
