KING Goodwill Zwelithini’s siblings, Princess Thembi Ndlovu and Prince Mbonisi Zulu, have promised to support new King Misuzulu.
However, they’re still angry that Prince Thokozani Zulu was not given a chance to speak after Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu’s will was read on Friday, 7 May.
Princess Thembi said there was nothing wrong with Prince Thokozani standing up to ask questions after the will named Prince Misuzulu as the new king.
She told
Daily Sun that Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi was supposed to have given him a chance to avoid unnecessary conflict.

Queen Sibongile Dlamini and her daughters have approached the courts to contest the validity of the late King Zwelithini’s will, alleging that it was tampered with and his signature forged. The will would have identified the next king.

Durban - After days of heated exchanges and accusations, there are internal attempts by members of the Zulu royal court to reconcile and give Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu a dignified burial identical to the one given to the King Goodwill Zwelithini.
On Monday, senior members of the royal court, Princess Thembi Ndlovu (nee Zulu), Princess Mbonisi Zulu and Prince Mathuba Zulu, among others, attended an evening meeting at Kwakhangelamankengane Palace in Nongoma where the mourning for Dlamini Zulu is taking place.
Walking into the palace, Prince Mbonisi briefly said they have been called to a meeting which would be attended by, among others, Queen Mayvis Zungu, the only surviving wife of the late King Cyprian Bhekuzulu, the father of the King Goodwill Zwelithini.

The late King’s sister Princess Thembi Ndlovu and brother Prince Mbonisi Zulu, along with four other princes, spoke outside Khangela palace, after Buthelezi, the monarchy’s traditional prime minister, allegedly locked them out of a meeting.
They have accused Buthelezi of excluding them in key family discussions and creating divisions in the Zulu royal household. This is just a fraction of the drama that has unfolded following the passing of Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu, the Regent of the Zulu nation, less than a week ago. She was King Zwelithini’s senior wife and the sister to Eswatini’s King Mswati.

Nongoma - Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, the Zulu nation and king’s traditional prime minister, has hit back at Princess Thembi Ndlovu (nee Zulu), Prince Mbonisi Zulu and Prince Thokozani Zulu after they claimed he is dictatorial, hence their decision to exclude him during their "unauthorised meetings“.
In a written response to Independent Media late on Sunday after he was asked to comment on accusations from the trio that he was imposing his people on the Zulu throne - among other accusations - Buthelezi fired back broadly.
For Mbonisi and Thokozani, Buthelezi said they were born out of wedlock, even saying the latter has always been known as a Msweli while Mbonisi should be grateful he was given royal roles despite his birth status.

DURBAN - Prime minister to the Zulu nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, has expressed concern about the public spats within the Zulu royal family following the passing of amaZulu King Goodwill Zwelithini and his third wife, Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
Buthelezi addressed the media on Monday afternoon at the Khangelamankengane Royal Palace in Nongoma, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Nongoma - King Goodwill Zwelithini’s sister, Princess Thembi Ndlovu, has hit out at Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, telling him “time is up” and that he should remove himself from the affairs of the Zulu royal family.
This is the latest spat from the Zulu royal court in Nongoma, following heightened tensions after the king’s first wife, Queen Sibongile Dlamini, approached the courts on an urgent application, saying the king’s will had been forged and in a bid for her to attain 50% of the king’s estate as part of her civil union with the deceased.

Nongoma - As the succession crisis within the Zulu royal house deepens, one of the senior princess in the royal court has called an urgent “separate meeting to discuss important issues.”
Wheelchair-bound Princess Thembi Ndlovu (nee Zulu), a sister of the late King Goodwill Zwelithini is heard in a leaked voice note telling other members of the royal family that the fact that they are all within Nongoma to mourn the passing away of Queen Regent, Mantfombi Dlamini-Zulu, it presents them with an opportunity to meet.
The voice note was apparently sent to a selected few on Saturday morning, but it ended landing on the laps of the other royal faction backing the late Dlamini-Zulu and the heir apparent, American educated Prince Misuzulu, 47.
