Look what he s done with immigration this week alone saying i m sick and tired of immigrants coming here and all going on welfare. that s clearly preying on stereotypes and our own ignorance. the majority of immigrants who come here aren t even eligible for welfare. dreamers, visa recipients, temporary workers, undocumented immigrants. they don t get public assistance. the president knows we don t know and tells us that. isn t he going to lean on culture and not the economy? he should lean on the economy as a matter of fact. that is the only area where he is not upside down in public opinion polling. whether he is handling the economy well or not is a different matter but when things go in the right direction in the economy and people feel that is true they give the credit to the president of the united states. all his polarizing rhetoric about immigrants, the hateful things he says, the tweets really sort of out of bounds, these things hurt him. a lot of this stuff also isn t true ....
