Trailer barrelling towards them, unable to stop. look at this. a quick thinking pickup driver manages to back up into the suv behind him. that move created enough extra space for the tractor trailer to maneuver around the bus and avoid hitting anyone. amazing. the pickup driver now hailed a hero. >> i look up and i realize there was a -- a tractor-trailer heading down my way head on. i had to do what i had to do to protect myself and the kids. it was one of those moments where you realize things can happen in an instant. >> the big rig driver was able to stop about a quarter mile down the road...
