That is that online people tend to contact a handful of people, disproportionately more often than everybody else. we all think that we like these generic people who are just you know i guess beautiful and really relatable. i don't know maybe they say they like going to the movies and it's common stuff. to the movies and it's common stuff, so we end up contacting these handleful of people more than anybody else. they are barraged in you know, contacts and e-mails and don't really know what to do. they're overwhelmed and not responding. you're thinking wait, why aren't these people writing back...
