She was born January 10, 1930, in Amsterdam, NY to Ronald and Agnes (Smullen) Marsh. She worked at Mohawk Carpet Mills. She received her GED after raising eight children. She was a successful John Hancock Insurance agent and Tupperware Manager. Patricia had eight children throughout two decades: 1949 to 1970.
