SEDALIA MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY AFTER HIGH-SPEED CHASE
A 23-year-old Sedalia man has been charged with a felony for allegedly speeding away from an attempted traffic stop in Pettis County on Sunday, April 11. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Harley Davidson was traveling at 109 miles per hour in a 65 miles-per-hour zone. The trooper attempted a traffic stop, and the motorcycle pulled into a gas station, but then out the other side and back onto U.S. Highway 65. At one point during the pursuit, the motorcycle split between two vehicles at 115 mph on the highway, and the trooper was advised to terminate the pursuit.
