In a split vote, Louisville City Council rejected a proposal to limit the amount of residential trash haulers to one. Currently there are seven.
Council decided that the property at 2100 W. Main St. is a prime location for potential development of city facilities.
Louisville City Council gave initial approval for a three-year contract with Thomas Pukys as city manager beginning Jan. 3.
