Purdue Northwest Chancellor Thomas Keon, who was widely denounced after a racist remark at commencement in December, announced in an email obtained by the Post-Tribune Friday that he will be “transitioning to faculty” June 30, 2024, after 12 years as the school’s leader. He’s doing so, he said, because the Purdue University system limits how long a chancellor can serve.
