Meta is gearing up to launch a web-based version of Threads, a microblogging platform that has already amassed 100 million users in just 1.5 months since its launch. The platform enables users to share 500-character updates, as well as visuals, and works in tandem with Instagram. Adam Mosseri, the head of Threads and Instagram, confirmed that a web-based version of Threads was being tested internally. The launch plans are not final and could shift, insiders stated.
