The May 16 primary elections for Philadelphia City Council featured races for all 17 seats, including seven at-large seats and 10 seats determined by geographic voting districts. On the Democratic side, the race for five at-large nominations is led by Isaiah Thomas, Katherine Gilmore-Richardson, Rue Landau, Nina Ahmad and Jim Harrity. Six district races were uncontested.
