Britannia Inn in Truro to close after being put up for sale
A popular inn in Truro is to close - but the leaseholders claim they only found out after being told by an estate agent it had been put up for sale. The Britannia Inn in Quay Street is set to close its doors on July 10, 2021 as the brewery that owns it will not be renewing the lease and plans on selling the building. It was put on the market for £325,000, although a note on RightMove today, which was not there at the start of the week, states that the property has been removed by the agent. It adds: "It may be sold or temporarily removed from the market."
