A busy road in Spital has been blocked this evening after two vehicles collided.

A MUM who campaigned to change the traffic calming measures at a busy crossroads after her son was hit by a car is ‘delighted’ after Wirral Council agreed to work on implementing changes. Kelly Newell’s youngest son Thomas Willemsen was knocked down by a vehicle that had jumped a red light on his way to school on December 11 last year. The incident led to mum-of-two Kelly launching a petition, campaigning for better infrastructure at the bustling crossroads by The Three Stags pub, which was signed by over 10,000 people.
