For every Vietnamese person, no matter where they are or what job they do, Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, is a special time to rest, return to one’s homeland, see relatives, talk about the past year, and exchange best wishes for the new year. Tet is not only a time to strengthen family bonds, but a time to forge closer community ties and foster one’s Vietnamese cultural identity.

(VOVWORLD) - A program took place in Paris on Saturday to introduce the culture of Vietnam and celebrate Tet, Vietnam’s traditional Lunar New Year. The festival was held by the Association for the Promotion of Vietnamese Culture (APCV).

Two books for teenagers by writer Từ Kế Tường, who was famous in the 1970s-90s, have been reprinted by the HCM City Literature Publishing House. 

The 292-page book is introduced on the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries and ten years of the bilateral strategic partnership.
