Brooke Boquist is on the expansion Toronto Six squad, and says organizers are taking the COVID-19 protocols very seriously. “We aren’t allowed to go out on the town, or walk through stores or even get a coffee,” says Boquist from her Lake Placid hotel room. “We only leave the hotel to walk to the rink. In order for us to even get together as teammates, we have to do it over Zoom which is different but that’s the way things are right now.”
