进入6月，气温回暖，迎来了青海湖湟鱼的洄游季。成千上万尾湟鱼从青海湖出发、逆流而上开启它们的“生态循环之旅”，形成了“半河清水半河鱼”的壮观景象。
20世纪六十年代，面对饥荒，湟鱼作为“充饥粮”成为了青海人的“救命之鱼”。但大肆捕捞致使湟鱼资源量迅速下降，一度到了种群灭绝的最低临界线。2004年，它被《中国物种红色名录》列为濒危物种。
湟鱼资源量的衰减，直接威胁到鸟类的迁徙、繁衍和生态物种多样性。
青海湖1982年开始实施限捕禁渔，2011年开始的第五次封湖育鱼为期10年，直到2020年12月31日……如今，青海省又揭开了第六次青海湖封湖育鱼的大幕。
第五次封湖育鱼期间，青海省新建湟鱼救护中心工厂化恒温循环水苗种培育车间2座、在哈尔盖河、沙柳河、泉吉河修建溢流堰式过鱼通道7座……在多年 ....
