The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2, will conduct a recruitment from May 5, 2021 through April 29, 2022 for eight Bricklayer, Mason and Plasterer apprentices; eight Pointer, Caulker and Cleaner apprentices; two Tile Setter (3Year) apprentices; and two Tile, Marble and Terrazzo Finisher apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today.
The openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for three recruitment regions - the Capital District, Mohawk Valley, and North Country regions of the state.
Applications can be obtained at JATC for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2, 302 Centre Drive, Albany, NY or at the Eastern Contractors Association, 6 Airline Drive, Albany, NY, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period.
