Mahikeng Local Municipality's 'major road patching' already corroding after only one month
The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Mahikeng Local Municipality will submit an application in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) to obtain the tender details, including the adjudication report, if any, for the substandard patching that was carried out on the two main roads in Golf View. This comes after rumours that the contract was awarded to a politically connected person who does not specialize in road construction or repair, infuriating several other contractors who allegedly also submitted tenders.
