WOJCIK BETHLEHEM — Admired community leader and village council member Stanley “Stacky” Wojcik died Wednesday, leaving friends and peers to mourn his loss. He was 70. Wojcik, who took a seat at the council table in July of 2007, a role which he held ever since, was a well-known man about town, active with city affairs and instrumental in keeping village affairs running smoothly. BRENNAN WHEELING — The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston wants its members to have a voice in its present and future. To do that, the Most Rev. Mark Brennan, Diocesan bishop, has reestablished a group that will give laypeople that opportunity. The Diocesan Pastoral Council is back and will hold its first meeting in nearly 15 years this month.
