(RELEASE from WHP) August 30, 2023 -- During the Labor Day holiday period, including the end of summertime and the busy holiday weekend, Wyoming law enforcement will be working to decrease impaired driving. Through September 4, officers, deputies, and troopers will take part in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high visibility enforcement event.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol celebrated its 90th anniversary on Tuesday. The event showcased displayed items from the past and present of Wyoming’s Highway Patrol. “Despite the fact that so many things have changed in law enforcement here in Wyoming, something doesn’t change. And those again are our ethos of service, integrity, honor and duty,” said Col. Tim Cameron, Administrator, Wyoming Highways Patrol.
