The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation just announced a record $165 million from donors over the last year. The Conversation talked to UH Foundation head Tim Dolan about the good this money can do.
It was a year that included a number of extraordinary groundbreaking gifts such as $50 million for ocean research, a grant that aims to boost the share of residents with college degrees and an endowed scholarship bequest for underrepresented students from Pacific Island countries.
Hawaii Dental Service Foundation has provided a $133,447 grant to continue the Hawaiʻi Keiki-HDS Dental Sealant Program.
Upgrades include additional Bloomberg terminals for students to conduct high-level financial analysis projects.
