Tributes paid to 'wizard' TT commentator Death of Tim O'Hanlon confirmed Tributes are being paid after the death of a long-time member of the Manx Radio TT commentary team. 73-year-old Tim O'Hanlon was the time-keeper in the pit lane for the TT, Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix. The proud Manxman also served his community at a local level as a Marown commissioner for nearly 30 years. Fellow TT commentator, and Manx Radio News Editor, Tim Glover has described him as an 'absolute wizard' with a stopwatch:

It's resulted in several countries imposing a travel ban on passengers from Britain. Public sector rent rise 'in tenants' best interests' Increasing public sector rents by 1% from April next year is in the tenants' best interests. That's the message from Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker as those living in the Island's 6,200 public sector homes face increased costs of between 78p and £1.52 per week. The Department of Infrastructure agreed to the price rise to cover the cost of maintenance.
