The Children’s Haven in Canton was the recipient of a $4,000 donation recently, thanks to the Lights on the Lake Christmas Boat Parade held on Dec. 5. Parade Co-Chair Linda Hartsfield said there were 28 boats that took part in this year’s event. Through both the support of those participating in the parade and a number of generous donors, the Lake Allatoona Association was able to present The Children’s Haven with a financial donation of this size.
