48th District: Who's running for the late Dave Arnold's Senate seat

Arnold won a special election in October 2019 after former state Sen. Mike Folmer resigned amid charges that he was in possession of child pornography. There were still two years left in Arnold's term. Republicans hold a voter registration edge over Democrats in the 48th Senate district, and have held the seat since 1983. Lebanon County Democratic Committee Chairman Dan Sidelnicksaid Republicans hold an advantage over fundraising against a Democratic contender.
