BOARDMAN — An aide with the Boardman Local School District resigned Friday after being accused of stapling a note to a child’s hair or head, the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s office has confirmed. Both the prosecutor’s office and the Boardman Police Department have concluded their investigation “of supplemental evidence obtained in the matter,” according to a news release from county Prosecutor Paul Gains. Mahoning Valley school districts are expected to receive slightly more than $39 million in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds this spring. YOUNGSTOWN — Schools and school districts in 11 Ohio counties, including Mahoning, learned they will be among the first eligible to have their employees receive the coronavirus vaccine. There are 45 schools and school districts in Mahoning County among those; Columbiana has three schools on the lists.
