Eurojust and Europol have assisted judicial and law enforcement authorities in Germany, Romania and Serbia in dismantling an organised crime group that allegedly smuggled hundreds of migrants to Germany. During a joint action day, two suspects were taken into custody in Germany. Another nine individuals in Romania have been taken to hearings. Fifteen places were searched, eleven of which in Romania. The authorities seized luxury cars, cash, several mobile phones and other evidence. Almost 200 officers took part in the operation.
