The Federal High Court, Abuja has ordered the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) Danladi Umar to appear before the Senate.

Mr Umar seeks to stop the Senate from probing the assault allegation levelled against him by a 22-year-old security guard, Clement Sargwak. A viral video clip showed him kicking and slapping the guard at the popular Banex Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja, on March 29, 2021.
