The four-week tournament will begin Aug. 22.
From New York Strips to ribeyes and everything in between, the area has even the toughest foodies covered when it comes to good steaks.
The Grand Forks Herald sat down with The Toasted Frog owner Shawn Clapp for 5 Questions this week to talk about how it got its name, why its fried pickles became so popular and more.
Deadline for entrants to apply is July 8. The winner will get to choose between a pie safe (value of $1,400) or a $500 gift card, courtesy of Home of Economy. Also, the winner will get $500 cash, in the name of their business sponsor.
The Herald began advertising the event earlier this week, soliciting entrants. Those who are interested should send an email to pie@gfherald.com or call the Herald office at 701-780-1103.
