Thursday afternoon, The Professional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN) held a dedication ceremony for a new firefighter memorial on the Capital Complex grounds in Carson City.
The new memorial will replace the old one in Mills Park, where plaques commemorate 70 firefighters.
The new memorial was approved on state grounds in 2017 and will feature five life-size bronze statues of firefighters in the line of duty.
