Greene County has a new tax man. Following the recommendation of the local Republican Party, Missouri Gov. Mike Parson appointed former State Rep. Allen Icet as County Collector on Monday. Icet replaces fellow Republican Leah Betts, who resigned last month after raising concerns about delayed personal property tax bills.
