Crooker Construction will spend the next several months reworking its controversial rezoning request after Topsham residents surprised the company with the force of their opposition.
After pulling similar proposals from Planning Board consideration multiple times in the past five years, Crooker Construction has brought a zoning change request to the Select Board in hopes of getting permission to move its asphalt batch plant from Lewiston Road to a separate property near the company’s rock quarry on River Road.
