助人"活雷锋" 居民"贴心人"_新闻频道_中山网

为人善良，热心助人的陈桂孚，每逢遇到村民因病住院，都会第一时间前去探望，而且尽己所能，帮他们申请各类困难补助。曾经，一位老长者在村口突发心脏病，陈桂孚和几位商铺老板实施现场救治，同时拨打120送医院抢救，家属对此感动不已。
陈桂孚的正能量还特别体现在对外地人的尊重和帮助上。上世纪90年代，有一天傍晚，他发现路上有10多个青年男女在游荡，一问才知道他们本来去珠海打工的，却被无良司机在中山港大道骗了下车。他主动把这10多个外地人带回家里，并煮好面条给他们吃，逐个给他们远在湖南湘乡市的家人报平安，并联系珠海厂方来车接人。当时，厂方提出酬谢，被陈桂孚婉拒。当地媒体还曾以《活雷锋陈桂孚》为题，报道了他助人为乐的事迹。
